H&M x KENZO Preview

Carol Lim and Humberto Leon will be joining the likes of Balmain, Versace, Margiela, Wang and Karl Lagerfeld this October, with their own collection for H&M. H&M, who have had their eyes on KENZO for a few years already, felt now was the right time to collaborate. H&M's creative advisor Ann-Sofie Johansson stated: “It’s totally different than the Balmain [collaboration]. We really like to pick different designers, to show our customers different aesthetics. I wasn't a big fan of Balmain but I am definitely head over heels for the Kenzo collaboration.

Below I've picked my favourite pieces as well as some campaign photos and some collages (created by my super intern Rae) that give you a nice little sneak peak into the collection that will hit the stores in November!
Before You check out all the photos and make your own little shopping list here are some words by the amazing designer duo that is KENZO. “In the five years that Carol and I have been at Kenzo, we’ve wanted to make sure that our customers know that we didn’t invent this brand. We’re almost hitting the 50th anniversary. What Kenzo Takada began was so revolutionary; it’s what attracted us to the brand to begin with. The idea is to celebrate where he began and where we’ve taken it—not only the archive of what he did but what we’ve worked on. We’re taking a look at how the two can merge in a true conversation...With this collaboration with H&M we want to think big, push the boundaries and bring the new energy of KENZO to everyone around the world.”
