Adidas Originals Series: "The City Issue"

The adidas Orginals Series is announcing it's third and last issue for 2015. Out of all the issues this year, this is actually my absolute favorite one. Mainly because the visual aesthetic is so on point. The cover is beautiful and what's behind it, is even better. The magazine is out since the first of December and features a series of creative minds that contributed to the project. But step by step...

"TIMOTHY SCHAUMBURG, fashion editorial"
Cover story, cover mode, and definitely a good choice! I love the choice of models (Umubano Haberer, Jana Julius, Caro Hulitz), I think the setting is great (who would have expected that of Frankfurt), and the style of photography seems very authentic but also uses light in a great way. You get the feeling those kids own their hood, and know their way around no matter what comes, they are up for it! All together a perfect story for something called "the city issue"

"STREETWEAR IKONE 3.0 Superior Mag x Tubular"
Equally good when it comes to photo editorials is the Superior Mag x Tubular Series. Very modern, very futuristic, clean and without too much detail. The simplicity of every composition drags your attention straight to the outfit. I especially love the shadows which make the models look like futuristic warriors! Not sure if it is a distopia or an utopian world II'm seeing, but I like it a lot!

No issue without my girlcrush Rita Ora. With every new collection she designs I have a new piece that desperately needs to be in my closet. This collection seems to be made for me. Her outfits look like she's gonna play rugby in space. A futuristic retor sporty girl... if that makes any sense! Well I'm already saving my money...

"adidas originals by HYKE"
This editorial I mainly like because I fell in love with the huge white jacket! Yeah I know... everything that is white calls my name! The series itself is very pure and features the designs of Hideaki Yoshihara und Yukiko Ode. The focus seems to be on materials and cuts, rather than colors which makes it look very grown up and of a high quality.
