Adidas Originals Series: "The Festival Issue"

Advertorial

The Adidas Orginals Series is going into round two! This time it's all about summer, music, dancing... it's the "Festival Issue" People in charge for this issue include some familiar faces such as Fabian Hart! Besides him, Julian Gupta and Milan  were also part of the team. My personal highlight (because of admiration issues) is photographer and publisher "Brit The Kid" from Fizzy mag! But let's start from the beginning or rather chronologically listing all my favourite parts from this isse.

"Dear Baes by Pharell": Being a big fan of the rainbow superstars and basically of everything Pharell has done for adidas so far, his most recent idea obviously also hits my taste buds! Matching pattern twin sets that come in four different versions... YES! That's exactly what the world needs. Twin sets just have this thing were you don't have to worry what to combine to either the top or the bottom. Something to worship when you're running incredibly late on a Monday morning. An additional cherry on top: Dear Baes is dedicated to Pharell's dancers that accompany him through out his world tour. They definitely moved from the background to the spotlight!

"Sneaker Los Angeles": Olympia is always a good reason for a sneaker come back don't you think? We are talking about Olympia in the year of 1984, setting Los Angeles. The LA Sneaker is born. Now 30 years later it's back. There have obviously been material changes and revolutionary additions so that air will flow right through it making it the perfect summer body for festival days. I personally really like the idea behind the photos. Although it's not my favourite sneaker by adidas, the whole campaign might change my mind.

"Fall/Winter 2015": Although I tend to avoid this topic we have reached the longest day and the shortest night for 2015 and things are getting closer towards fall again. Although I'm hoping for a late summer and no need for jackets till earlies November it might not be a bad idea to at least be prepared. Luckily the fall/winter collection by adidas makes that rather easy. I love the black and white, sporty, clean looking pieces, and the way they are presented in this raw industry like setting!

"Fabian Hart": as I mentioned before isn't an unfamiliar face. In fact he used to lead a course at my university. Together with one of my friends Anna Wegelin he captured the best parts of festival Hamburg wearing nothing but (haha no kidding) the Adiletten. In all seriousness this shoe seems to be the perfect festival companion. No more ruined sneakers after 3 days of non stop dancing. Feet can be washed so much easier than your new leather shoes.

Last but not least my all time favourite sneaker (constantly battling with the superstar for number one) the Stan Smith has a few new things to announce. He's available in gold and silver now, with rainbow details, as a high top version and in the most unusual materials. I want to actually touch all of them just to know how they would feel on my skin (That sounded far creepier than it was  meant).

Now we are coming to the best part... because there's something in for you! I know this issue is full of crazy good looking stuff so it won't be easy, but try to pick your favourite one (every photo marked with a trefoil logo is in the competition). Take a photo of it, post it on instagram using the hashtag: #adidasOriginalsSeries and the @mention: @adidas_de. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! Take a look at the complete issue front to back ---> here!
