2018 new year new project... well we kinda started in 2017 but this year I have my shit together and far more energy to move projects forward. Doing my blog, working as a photographer etc. I usually work along or with a team for only a day! And I love that. No one to give me an opinion about anything, I can publish exactly what I want, I enjoy peace and quiet BUT and there's a big but... I also envy great teams. People that seem to be exactly on the same wavelength, that inspire and push each other. I also believe having input makes your original ideas much better. And last but not least I've always wanted to be part of a girl band! As that dream seems to be on hold for now (until I discover my talent for singing maybe) I found a pretty good alternative. That being said let me introduce you to MADWOMEN.

Labels: On track, May I introduce
As mentioned it's not easy to find people you like to work with that completely understand what you want and that share your visual vibes. So if I do find someone I tend to work with them on several projects simply because the work turns out so much better. Having worked with Olive at INDIE magazine before and more and more at events or for editorial shootings we figure it would make things a lot easier if we don't just do that by coincidence but as a planed concept. Within our field there is still a huge lack of females as well as diversity. So why not change that or play a part in changing that supporting other amazing women as there are a lot!
MADWOMEN (for now) is a collective that does photography, styling, casting, production and djing. That basically comes due to demand as most clients except something like a package deal, where they outsource as much as possible to the creative team. We both had to work in several positions for past clients and have gained a lot of experience in the different fields of production. It also always made a lot of sense to us when every part of production spoke the same visual language. The idea also came from several events Olive and I worked together, basically booked as a package for photos and djing which made it a lot more fun for us too.
MADWOMEN is supposed to grow into a international network of creative women that all bring a different skill or craft to the table and who push each other in projects and jobs around the world.
