Photos of the Day: "Celluloid Paper Dolls"
Bobby Doherty
Today's photos look familiar to you? Probably because you've seen most of the movies those screen shots are from. Photographer Bobby Doherty found a clever way to present the key fashion pieces from last season, making you look more than twice to actually spot them.
Dressing those actors by inserting items form the season's runways into stills from legendary movies results in some great visuals. I sometimes had a very hard time to actually figure out which pieces were added. Thumbs up for these photoshop skills. Can you make it out straight away? Check out the last pictures if you want a solution to our little movie quiz.
This first appeared online at New York Magazine. It reminds me a little of those instagram photos featuring Jeremy Scott pieces or accessories from the last fashion week season.
