ZALANDO Blogger Apartment

A perfect day

You need quite a few things for a perfect day. The last Friday came pretty close though. Not only because it was my first day of vacation, but also it was Blogger Apartment day at Zalando. At a very human time (11:00 am) we were invited to join a breakfast near Bülowstr. Arriving we were welcomed in the most beautiful flat (or should I rather say apartment), I've ever seen. Parquet, folding doors, a balcony and raw walls, are only the start. The decoration pulled of the rest. They had a room filled with pink wallpapers, make-up tables, little couches and girly stuff everywhere. Besides that huge vases filled with all kinds of flowers made the scenery rather look like a film setting, than a blogger location. The kitchen was full of chatting girls at filled tables, where you could enjoy bagels, cupcakes, macarons, fruit salad, müsli and different juices (how amazing is white peach juice - good to know things like that exist). Next to a lot of familiar faces (Katha, Sarah&Nike, Ari, Sarah, Kathrin, Anjelica etc.), the hosts, Katja, Cloudy, Gala and Navaz, there were also quite a few new ones.

After a very extensive breakfast, we took a sneak peak at the Zalando collection and also at their cooperation with Kaviar Gauche. Then we started picking our outfits and tried them on in the already mentioned pink room. Next step: heading of to the make up ladies. I know very "girly", but simply wonderful at the same time. We tried on outfit after outfit and after deciding for one, photos were taken (results will follow). I would have loved to keep the boots I was wearing, which doesn't happen too often. But their color (dark red) and the fact that I could walk easily on a 10cm heel the whole day, should be more than an argument.

The day finished with a group photo, masses of flowers to take with (they did almost top every goodie bag), a mysterious sac and a dinner at Chén Chè. A lot of girls had to leave there already and take a flight to the next city. But I'm sure the next occasion will come pretty soon. Dear Zalando team and especially dear Häberlein & Mauerer team, it was such a perfect and wonderful day that made it seem like the weekend already.
